Arabesque, is a body\u00a0position<\/strong>\u00a0in which a dancer stands on one leg\u2013the supporting leg\u2013with the other leg\u2013the working leg\u2013turned out and extended behind the body, with both legs held straight. These are the 3 arabesque positions. First arabesque (arms and legs in and open position toward the audience), second arabesque (arms in a closed position and legs in an open position) and third arabesque (arms in an open position and legs in a closed position. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
